Whirling Whistler

One thing the Toba mission to Earth learned about dogs was that they have excellent high frequency hearing, and that humans often took advantage of this to whistle to catch their dogs’ attention. The Toba dog trainers never mastered the human art of loud whistling (with or without fingers placed in the mouth), so they did a very Toba-like thing: build a small, computerized device that did the whistling for them.

It wasn’t long until the Toba realized that the small whistling box - now renamed The Whirling Whistler made a perfect distraction during a Rocket Dogs race. Press a button, emit a blast of distracting whistles, and watch as every competing Rocket Dog stumbles to a halt, looks around, and tries to figure out who’s calling for his attention!
