Tears of Aphrodite

The Toba have a long history of goldsmithing, silversmithing, and gem cutting, dating back to at least their medieval period. Toba artists work to craft jewelry from the rarest and most exotic materials - gold, of course, but also gems of every color (including the rare purple stones from Exosol), and rare metals extracted from distant moons.

The collar known as Tears of Aphrodite features gold, silver, and gems… but all of these are common in the jewelry that Toba artisans make for the fashionable and well-dressed on Quantum Prime. What really sets the Tears of Aphrodite apart from common jewelry is the same thing that gives it the name - the stunning and large pearls plucked from the huge clam-like shellfish in the shallow oceans of Novatropia.
