Solar Suit

The Toba began exploring the two planets and many moons of their system centuries ago. Once those were all cataloged, investigated, and explored, they turned their scientific sights to other bodies: a handful of very small asteroids circling much closer to the Toba star, Aluza. Robotic probes sent back some information before burning out, but there was no substitute for having actual Toba on the asteroids to gather data, debug hiccups with equipment, and adjust the exploration as new data presented itself.

Of course, operating so close to Aluza meant that the regular spacesuits that Toba astronauts wore in the outer system were insufficient, and new highly reflective, highly heat resistant Solar Suits were developed.

These have been repurposed for Rocket Dogs races, so any dog that thinks he might race near the lava streams of Caldera Chaos or past the industrial smelters on Exosol might want to consider acquiring one!
