Get Rekt

Isha’s idea for her second weapon design, which would later earn the name Get Rekt, started with the simple idea of pulling a competitor backwards. She experimented with a few ideas - artificial quicksand in a can, giant bungee cords, and more - before settling on the idea of a using a vortex to disturb the ground under a Rocket Dog’s feet.

By packing a high intensity power source, an array of microturbines, and a targeting computer into a small deployable device, Isha’s Get Rekt is basically a small one-use portable tornado. When used at the right time, the Get Rekt device excavates the soil under a competitor Rocket Dog’s foot. The ground literally shifts under the competitor, causing a sinking feeling. If the targeted Rocket Dog happens to be crossing a stream or river when the Get Rekt goes off, a large loss of liquidity is likely. In either case, the target of the Get Rekt has their physical progress disrupted, which can in turn cause a loss of nerve.
