Electrolyte Gummies

Electrolyte Gummies, unlike the other snacks from the Rocket Dogs Kitchen, was not invented by Junior Chef Geemi, but by her friend Bodoro, who was supposed to be working on beverages. Bodoro was in the process of perfecting his drink Propelerade, based on conventional Toba sports drinks but reformulated for Rocket Dogs, when he spilled a bottle of Propelerade on the counter, got called away to a meeting before he had a chance to mop it up, and then forgot and left the spill there over the weekend.

The result, when he returned to it, was a gummy mess … and thus an idea was born. Bodoro scrounged some food molds, and then started experimenting with various additives that he could stir in to Propelerade to help it gel. Within a few days he’d perfected the recipe and had a snack that provided electrolytes and other vitamins to energize a Rocket Dog, but in a convenient chewable gummy form.
