Brain Freeze

Early in the Toba exploration of their home planetary system, an expedition landed on Lukona and Toba explorers - after verifying that the atmosphere was safe - took off the helmets of their space suits and began exploring.

One Toba astronaut on that first mission to Lukona discovered a small bush covered with red berries and yellow flowers. He leaned in to smell the berries…and then leaned back, having forgotten what he was doing. At which point he noticed a small bush covered with red berries and yellow flowers. This went on for quite a whole until a second Toba astronaut discovered the bizarre scene. Keeping a safe distance, he yelled for his fellow astronaut…who turned, saw him, and then walked over. A brief conversation revealed that the first astronaut had no memory of what was soon named the forget-berry bush.

While all patches of forget-berry bushes on Lukona are now guarded by automated sentry systems to make sure that no Toba accidentally ends up caught in a loop, forgetting the last five seconds over and over, a small pinch of forget-berry powder is the key ingredient in Brain Freeze, which can cause a Rocket Dog to lock up and lose a few seconds.
