Scottish Terrier

Many of the dogs the Toba brought to Quantum Prime liked to chase the rabbit-like Leni…but only the Scottish Terrier would go charging into their underground burrows after them. Leni, unlike rabbits back on Earth, usually dig two or even three exits from their burrow, so the Scottish Terriers had little luck capturing leni and bringing them back to their Toba trainers … but because their breed, by nature, wants to bring something back from the burrow, they settled for whatever they could find in the burrows. Combine this with the leni’s trait of grabbing shiny objects to decorate their burrows with, the result was that Scottish Terriers kept surprising their trainers by recovering various tools misplaced by farmers, empty beverage containers, and more.

The Toba Rocket Dogs trainers who were working with the Terriers realized that this trait could be used in the races and taught the Terriers how to “borrow” boost charges from other Rocket Dogs!
