Great Dane

The Toba were at first not sure that Great Danes were truly a breed of dogs, and might be some other species, misclassified by humans. Based on size and appearance they seemed a lot closer to the tall, graceful forest zelko of Quantum Prime and Lukona than they did to the other Earth dogs…but then their behavior (including their thunderous deep barks!) made it clear that they were in fact a type of dog.

One of the first things the Toba dog trainers learned about Great Danes is that they go where they want, and every other dog makes way for them, like it or not. Small dogs like Pugs and Russell Terriers get pushed aside, of course, but so do much bigger dogs like Siberian Huskies and German Shepherds. Even Toba trainers get knocked down and stunned if a Great Dane is intent on moving from point A to point C and the unlucky trainer happens to be at point B in the middle!
