American Eskimo

In Rocket Dogs training camp, the Rocket Dogs are free to come and go as they wish - wandering from training area to dormitories to recreation areas. The only boundaries are fences put up around the perimeter to keep misbehaving Rocket Dogs from sneaking onto neighboring farms and bothering the livestock.

…and yet, a half dozen times or more, one of the American Eskimos has been found on the wrong side of the wire, either chasing livestock, rolling in manure piles, or just meeting and charming passing Toba.

How were they getting out? Surveillance video showed that they had a dozen techniques, from digging under the fence, to seeing places where the mesh wasn’t correctly attached to the post, to sneaking out behind departing Toba.

It turned out during Rocket Dogs training races that this otherwise annoying skill has a huge upside: American Eskimos have a rare ability to see a trap ahead and avoid setting it off. Certainly, this will be useful in the real Rocket Dogs races!
