Akita

The first Akitas that the Toba met were loud and unfriendly: a Toba scout team walking down a California street past a junkyard was startled when three large Akitas, chained up and standing on top of a junked Corvette, lunged at the disguised explorers and began barking incessantly.

The Toba, even while liking dogs in general, were a bit put off by this, and were left a bit unsure about Akitas…until they met some others of the same breed, and realized that it was in their nature to turn the knob on whatever they do to 11: if an Akita is barking, it’ll bark more than another dog, if it’s wagging its tail, it’ll wag more than another dog, if it’s licking your face (another thing that the Toba were unsure of at first, and had to get used to), it’ll give the endeavor 10 percent more.

With this sort of energy and attitude, how can an Akita not outperform most other entrants in a Rocket Dogs race?
